Users must have basic access to an OUTSCAN/HIAB or Appsec account, and all logins require HTTPS protocol. The document provides step-by-step instructions for logging in using the Classic UI and Portal UI, as well as options for Single Sign-On (SSO) and LDAP. Additionally, it offers troubleshooting tips for users who encounter login issues, such as switching between Portal and Classic interfaces or checking access with the main user.
Requirements
To log in o Outpost24 Portal, the reader needs basic access to an OUTSCAN/HIAB or Appsec account.
All access to both the classic UI and the Portal requires HTTPS protocol.
Log In Using the Classic UI
OUTSCAN or HIAB

To log in using:

OUTSCAN application, open a browser and navigate to
https://outscan.outpost24.com/. -
HIAB appliance, open a browser and enter the assigned network address
https://your-appliance-ip.

Enter your credentials.

Click the Login button.

To access the Outpost24 common Portal , go to Main Menu > Portal.

Click Portal to go to the Portal UI.
Log In Using the Portal UI

Open a browser and navigate to
https://outscan.outpost24.com/portal.

Enter your credentials and click on the blue arrow button to log in to the Portal UI.
Log In Using SSO
Prerequisites
-
A valid and active account on a SSO Identity Provider.

OUTSCAN / HIAB that is configured for SSO integration.
Logging in

Go to
https://outscan.outpost24.com/or alternatively tohttps://<hiab-ip-address>/. -
Enter your username.
-
Click the Single Sign-On button.
-
Enter your credentials on the page you have been redirected to for SSO authentication.
-
Press Sign In.
-
After authentication you are redirected back to OUTSCAN / HIAB page.
Log In Using LDAP
Requirements
-
An Active Directory (AD) authentication server is required within the customers network to integrate with.

Integration with the LDAP server has been setup within the HIAB system.
Logging in
-
Go to
https://<hiab-ip-address>/ -
Enter your username and password.

Press Login to be authenticated against the LDAP server.

After authentication you are logged in to the HIAB system.
Not Able to Log In
-
Try switching between Portal/Classic.
-
Not able to log in with SSO? Double check access with main user.
