Purpose
This article provides information on how to use single sign-on (SSO) to log in to the portal.
Introduction
Single sign-on is an authentication method that enables users to log in with a single set of credentials across multiple independent software systems, eliminating the need for users to log in to every application they use.
With a single sign-on system, users can access all the applications they need without having to authenticate with different credentials.
Logging in using SSO
Prerequisites

A valid and active account on a SSO Identity Provider.

OUTSCAN / HIAB that is configured for SSO integration.
Logging in

Go to
https://outscan.outpost24.com/or alternatively tohttps://<hiab-ip-address>/. -
Enter your username.

Click the Single Sign-On button.

Enter your credentials on the page you have been redirected to for SSO authentication.

Press Sign In.

After authentication you are redirected back to OUTSCAN / HIAB page.
