Amazon Web Services Credentials



Purpose

This document describes how to set up Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials.

Introduction

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a web service for securely controlling access to AWS services. IAM provides the ability to centrally manage users, security credentials such as access keys, and permissions that control which AWS resources users and applications can access.

Adding Credentials

  1. Log in to OUTSCAN.
  2. In the Portal, click the Account button in the upper right corner.
  3. Click the Credentials box.

  4. Click + Add credentials.

Set up AWS Credentials

  1. In the drop-down menu select Amazon Web Services.
  2. Add the name of your AWS account.
  3. Select how to log in: 
    1. Select Login with Access Key, to login using the access key ID and Secret Access Key.


       
    2. Select Login with Role, to login using ARN Role.



  4. Click blue ADD button to create the credentials.
