Purpose

This document describes the Filters and Tags in the Unified View.

Introduction

Filters helps you to sift through large quantities of results from the scans. By grouping assets into AppStaks with various filters and tags, making it easier to identify vulnerabilities on key systems.  

Filters

In the upper right corer you find the filter button. Clicking it displays the various filter options that are available.

Create Filter

Filters are available for AppStaks, Assets, and Findings.

You can create filters on Business criticality, Grades, and Tags.

Selecting Business criticality you can filter on Low, Medium, High, and Critical or any combination of them.

Grades

Selecting Grades you can filter on A,B,C,D, or F or any combination of them.

Tags

Selecting Tags you can filter any tag of your choice.

Combining Different Filters

Clicking Add term allows you to add combinations of different filters.

For example you can select High in Business criticality, and then add D and F from Grades creating a more granular filter.

Managing Tags

Tags adds further possibilities to filter your results. You can add and remove tags freely from the AppStaks you create.

Adding Tags

To add tags:

  1. Select the AppStaks tab and click on the configure icon on the left hand menu.
  2. Select an AppStak and click edit. This opens a form on the right hand side.
  3. In the form, fill in a tag of your choosing. You may also select available tags from the list.
    The tag should have the format Key:Value or just Key.
  4. Once you are done click Save.

Deleting Tags

To remove tags from the AppStak:

  1. Select the AppStaks tab and click on the configure icon on the left hand menu.
  2. Select an AppStak and click edit. This opens a form on the right hand side.
  3. In the form, click on the little X on the tag you want to delete.
  4. Once you are done click Save.
