Important notice for all customers

We are continually improving the service we offer our customers, and are implementing a number of network changes to help improve the service we are able to provide.

To guarantee an totally uninterrupted service, we recommend that customers allow any Outpost24 services they may have running access to the following IP ranges:

For IPv4: 91.216.32.1 to 91.216.32.254, 80.254.228.0 to 80.254.231.255.
For IPv6: 2001:67c:1084::0 to 2001:067c:1084:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff.

As we know this is not always possible for some customers, in the last few months we have implemented DNS entries for all of our services where specific access is required. These may have previously been communicated as IP Addresses, but should be changed to DNS entries as soon as possible to ensure a continuity of service. The necessary changes are detailed below:

Visible Changes to RBAC in Portal

Some new roles will now be visible within the RBAC module. These are in preperation for the release of a new product in Q1 2022, and will currently have no effect.

When an Agent is downloaded, the filename now contains the current Agent version number.
Agent Usage information is now available in the License Tab (Under Main Menu > Settings > Account).

Bug Fixes and Minor Improvements

Netsec

Fixed an issue where some language translations were not being applied.
Fixed an issue where specific tick boxes would not be displayed when using Safari for MacOS.
Fixed an issue where agents on Linux in some circumstances would not evaluate all available detections.
Fixed a minor issue where certain SMB related scripts related to users and groups in would not run under specific circumstances.
Fixed an issue with Cookie-related findings deduplication where only the cookie name would be considered and not the port it was discovered on.
Fixed an issue with Docker Engine detection on Windows not working when installed in specific ways.
Added detection for Rocket Chat (and CVE-2021-22911, which is related).
Added detection for Omron CX-Supervisor (and CVE-2021-20836, which is related).
Added performance improvements when fingerprinting unknown services.
Updated internal scanning components for performance and maintainability improvements.

Appsec

Fixed an issue where Scale scans would spend an extended time in the reporting phase.
